General Assembly Fifth Committee (GA5) – Promoting Transparency and Accountability in Developing Countries – July 25

When it comes to good governance, transparency and accountability have always been major players in the league. Unfortunately, in developing countries often lack these two luxuries that are present in more advanced governments.
By definition, transparency in a government means that both citizens and the media have access to governmental documents. Accountability is the ability to hold leaders accountable & have them take responsibility for their actions.
Transparency and Accountability are two doorways towards decreased corruption, better economies, & a higher stander of living.
In this session of the GA5, country representatives should find effective and efficient ways for the betterment of these two very important aspects of governance in developing countries
